{crazy}

Sometimes I seriously feel like a blue heeler trying to heard cattle.

Sometimes I think I may be making a spectacle of myself when I try to take all of the kids places by myself.  People are probably thinking, "Lady, you are crazy".

I will never again bring all the kids to Fountain Hills where there are lots of duckys, and a hill to chase the ducks down that leads to a small body of water.  It has taken a full 12 hours to recover from that little trip that I started out thinking that I was such a fun mom.

Perhaps I am CRAZY!

Oh well.

What am I to do?

Stay home?

Perhaps I will next time:-)

  1. Our vision is usually just that....OUR vision! I used to think about reading stories to you girls at night before bed, but that happy little vision never quite worked out as chaos seemed to always break out!! Well, at least we tried!! (Besides look at all of the great pictures that you got. When your kids see those, they will remember the fun and not the frustration)

  2. I have arrived home from many an excursion and wondered why we even left the house! I feel your pain, though I still don't know how you do it with triplets and twins so young! You're amazing!

  3. You are crazy...in a good way. A mother of twins and trips has to be crazy, that's just how you have to roll. I was amazed when I was down in AZ last month to watch how you roll. When you came over to Mom's house the night we were doing our dental school friends get together...you were so calm and were actually able to carry on a conversation with me while your kids were all over the place acting as 4 and 2 year olds do. I was so impressed with your calm state of mind and that you were able to kind of tune them out so that we could talk. It's a talent I tell ya. You are doing a great job. Everyday is a new challenge and if you take everyday at a time you will find that you are a pretty dang good mamma. You're my hero!

  4. I am such a fan of trips to fountain hills. We used to do it all the time when we lived in Mesa. The memories are priceless! It was so fun. And I am sure that and onlookers were just envious. That they could look like you, and be like you, and have those cute little kids for themselves.
